Kate graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Boston University, School of Theology in 2015, where she maintained a Dean’s Fellowship Scholarship throughout her three-year degree program. Kate focused on pastoral ministry in seminary, interning at a church start-up in Somerville MA from 2012-2013, and at Old South Church in Boston from 2013-2015. After graduating, Kate served as Director of Children and Family ministries in Wellesley, MA, and then traveled to North Carolina, where she served as a chaplain at the Durham VA Medical Center and the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. Kate’s favorite parts of ministry at CCA are preaching, hanging out with the Senior High Youth Group, and pastoral care. In her free time, Kate enjoys cooking and kayaking, and spending time with her spouse, Rufy, and two cats, Simon and Mateo.
