Home Starter has served over 92 families through October 2024, and taken in over 200 donations! Our volunteers work tirelessly to make sure every family has a fully furnished apartment. We are always in need of more volunteers, both administrative and for driving/moving. Contact HomeStarter Team to see how you can help!
This trailer was purchased with a special donation from Bruce Beckley's estate for World Service, and approved by his family. The back of the trailer has the church logo and "In honor of Bruce and Sharon Beckley" on it. This trailer allows us to expand the Home Starter mission by moving things in a safer way, and in inclement weather.
What is the Home Starter Program?

We work with various service agencies who reach out to us when they identify a family or individual in need of our items.

Testimonials
Thank you for all of your help with my apartment which I adore and am so grateful to have. It is because of these programs and people like you that I have been able to achieve security and stability with a home, which has allowed me to work for a second chance. I just want to say thank you! From Home Starter recipient.
Thank you so much for helping me furnish my apartment. Without you I would still be sleeping on the floor. From Home Starter recipient.
I can’t tell you enough how much your Home Starter program is helping the community. Our clients are incredibly grateful. You all are alleviating not only the financial burden but the emotional toll of living in a virtually empty apartment. Thank you!

I wanted to especially thank you and the folks at CCA that helped our client recently with many furnishings for her new place in Bedford. Your group is such a blessing to so many! Our client was amazed and could not say enough good things about all of the help you all gave her.
