Creative Worship
On the third Sunday of every month, our 10:00 am service is a special “Creative Worship.” Our Creative Worship services step outside our traditional order of worship with special music and interactive liturgies and activities. On these Sundays, our children participate in the beginning of the service before heading off to Church School to engage the story in a new way.
In May, our monthly Creative Worship falls on Pentecost Sunday! We’re inviting everyone to wear something RED to church as we celebrate the birth of the church and hear the story of the Apostle Paul – a controversial figure in his time and ours! Jesus’ early disciples knew Paul as “Saul” – He was one of the most prolific persecutors of Christians in the years after Jesus’ death. Then Saul had a conversion experience, changed his name to Paul, and went on to build the foundation of the church that we know today. Why did Saul have a change of heart? Why does he still stir up controversy among Christians today? We hope you can join us for this service, in-person or on online!
For 2023-2024 we’re celebrating THE STORIES OF OUR FAITH! Each month we’ll focus on a different beloved story from our Bible and the message it has for all ages.
