The Congregational Care Team presides over this ministry of presence to members of our church family. Working closely with the pastors, this ministry reflects our concern and care for each other and seeks to respond to the spiritual, emotional and tangible needs of our church community.
A small group of church members meet monthly with our pastors to review and organize current congregational care needs, but the whole church membership is part of this team and ministry of caring. Home and hospital visits, cards, phone calls, prayer chains, and arranging for rides and meals are just a few of the ways that we care for one another in times of need. Being a Caring Angel is much easier than you think. What better way to spread God’s love among us?
If you would like to know more about our Congregational Care assistance, know of someone in need of care, or can volunteer to drive or provide food, please email Sara Phelps or contact Andrea in the church office (603) 673-3231.
