Small Group participants are FIVE TIMES more likely to stay involved in church than those who attend only worship services. Here is what our small group members are saying about their experience.
“I LOVE my small group!
“It’s the one place where I can just relax and be me.”
“I feel like we’re a family – everyone is so supportive and caring.”
“I’ve learned so much about myself, my fellow group members, and my faith.”
A dedicated group of teachers and advisors works with young people from age 3 through the seventh grade.
We provide a comprehensive, fun and meaningful Confirmation program for our youths in 8th grade and above that are interested in exploring their ‘confirmation’ to our beliefs. For more information contact Pastor Kate.
The Adult Education Committee offers regular and one-of-a-kind programs to church members and friends. Participants come for a variety of reasons: fellowship, learning, community, laughter, insight, and the desire to grow and be transformed. All are welcome.
Preschool in the Village is an independent, non-profit early childhood education center, serving families in Amherst and surrounding towns since 1995. We offer half-day programs for children 3 to 6 years old, and are open September to June according to the public school calendar (SAU 39).
PIV leases space in the historic Amherst Congregational Church, across from the village green. As a non-profit organization, PIV is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of parent and community volunteers, and managed by the School Director. All monies received are used exclusively for the preschool.
The Susan Drumm Scholarship Fund is named in honor of PIV’s first School Director, and is available to enrolled families in need of tuition assistance. It is our goal that every student be able to complete the school year with us.
