Wednesday morning
Study Group
Come join this group for lively
and faith deepening discussion on the first and third
Wednesdays of the month.
Our two June meetings are stand alone
sessions. Please consider coming along and joining the
always inspiring and in-depth discussion.
June 4: Our
focus will be an article from the current issue of
Congregations magazine with the provocative title, “How
Responding to People’s Needs Hurts the Church” by Elizabeth
Steele. You can pick up a copy from the church office.
June 18: The
meeting on will center around a lecture given by New
Testament scholar and practicing Jew, Amy-Jill Levine, on
Pontius Pilate. This will be an interesting sequel to the
“Saving Jesus” series.
The group meets in the parlor from
10-11:30 am. Coffee is provided. If you haven’t been before,
consider coming along this time!
