World Service Committee
The church exists for mission – and the
Congregational Church of Amherst continues its long
tradition of extending the arms of Christ to local towns,
the region, the nation, and around the world. Through our
church’s World Service Committee, we study and learn about
those we seek to serve.
As we work to provide financial and
volunteer support, we share our mission with church members
and friends. We do more than write checks - we take a
“hands-on” approach to mission whenever possible.
Through this committee, our church supports
nearly two dozen different ministries of service. For
