Sessions for New and Prospective
Members
Prospective new members usually want and need information
about our church, our faith--and more--before they decide to
join our faith community, as part of worship service on New
Member Sunday, June 1.
Information sessions for those exploring membership will be
offered in three different presentations.
Sunday, April 20--After
worship service, the deacons will offer a tour of the
church and the education building and explain our different
ministries and opportunities for involvement.
Wednesday, April 22, 7:30 pm--Pastor
Dick discusses our national denomination, the United
Church of Christ, in the Parlor
Tuesday, May 7, 7:30 pm--Pastor
Dick discusses our local congregation, in the Parlor.
Sunday, June 1--New Member Sunday.
Attendance at these sessions does not commit you to joining,
but if you are considering membership these will be
excellent opportunities to ask questions and learn more
about the Congregational Church of Amherst, the United
Church of Christ, and covenant within our tradition.
