Music Committee
The Music Committee plans and
assists with all music programs. We are also responsible for
the maintenance and care of all instruments within the
church. In addition, our committee helps to engage special
musicians in cooperation with the Director of Music and our
Pastor to support and enhance the Mission and
Ministry of our church.
Our
committee meets monthly to help enhance
the music programs set by both the Director of Music and Bell
Choir Director. Other discussions may include music staff
compensation, purchasing of supplies (music, choir robes ...,
etc.), instrument tunings, instrument upgrades and repairs,
special performances and fund
raising activities.
In 2002, one specific fund raising project
included the recording, mixing, duplication and distribution
of the Choirs CD. The project involved all of the current
music programs and choirs within the church. Funds collected
from this CD continue to help fund our music program, special
activities and music ministry.
We are very proud of our Music staff and volunteer choirs. All
participants work extremely hard to enhance the music ministry
of our church. Their hard work and perseverance consistently
raise the bar of excellence.
